JD Meacham, MA, CBE

JD’s personal focus is patient advocacy.  In addition, to being the Executive Director for WFNN, he is the Executive Director of the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation – the only such dedicated resource for neuroscience nurses seeking funding support in research and education.

He is deeply committed to movement disorder and is the at-large director of the Parkinson’s Resource Center which serves the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska, USA.

Previously he has served the neuroscience nursing specialty in positions ranging from Executive Director of the American Board of Neuroscience Nurses, Executive Director of the Society of Trauma Nurses, Deputy Executive Director of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and is the WFNN staff liaison to the triennial World Parkinson’s Congress.
